How to reach a person, and how to delete your CARMAgree™ account.
You can delete your CARMAgree™ account yourself. There are two routes and they do the same thing — use whichever is in front of you.
The route exists in the web application and in the iOS and Android applications. The mobile applications are native, so the steps differ slightly; both are set out here.
On the web
In the iOS or Android application
If you cannot sign in, write to support@carmagree.com from the email address the account uses, with the subject Delete my account. We reply to the account address to confirm the request before anything is done, for the same reason the in-app route sends a confirmation email. Data-protection requests can also be sent to privacy@dealdoctor.pro.
We want you to know this before you start, not after.
| What | What happens | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in | Removed | Your password is destroyed and the account is closed. You cannot sign in again, and the email address can no longer be used to reach the account. |
| Your account profile | Anonymised | Your name and your email address are overwritten in the account record; the organisation name is overwritten as well when the workspace closes with you. What remains carries no personal identifier. |
| Envelopes that were never executed — drafts, and envelopes still out for signature | Left in the workspace | Deleting your sign-in does not change an envelope. If you were the workspace’s last active user, the workspace closes with you and its outstanding signing links can no longer be opened or signed. If other people share the workspace, it stays open and every envelope in it — including yours still out for signature — continues exactly as before. If the workspace closed with you, everything left in it is deleted with the workspace, on the same timing as the row below. |
| Executed documents and their evidence records | Kept; deleted only if the workspace closes | An executed envelope is a legal record that other people rely on. The counterparty who signed it, and anyone who later needs to prove what was signed, holds an interest in that record that your deletion request does not extinguish. The executed document, the certificate of execution, the audit trail and the SHA-256 hash therefore remain, together with the signer details that make the record provable, and stay subject to the retention terms for CARMAgree™ data in the EULA (Section 6.a(iii)). If the workspace closed with you, they are kept for at least sixty (60) days after closure and are then deleted, unless a subscription, or envelopes you have paid for and not used, are still attached to the account — then we keep them rather than deleting them, and you can write to us to have the account closed. If the workspace stays open for other people, they remain with it. Everyone who signed already holds their own copy. |
| Billing records | Retained | Payment records are held by our payment processor, or by the App Store or Google Play for purchases made in the mobile applications, under their own retention terms; the providers are named in the Data Processing Addendum. |
| Email delivery logs | Held by the email provider | Our email — signing mail and account email, including the deletion confirmation — is delivered by a third-party provider that keeps its own delivery logs; the provider is named in the Data Processing Addendum. |
Signers do not have CARMAgree™ accounts. If you signed something through a link somebody sent you, there is no account of yours to delete. What exists is the evidence record of that envelope, and it belongs to the envelope, not to us to erase on request — the sender and the other signers rely on it. Write to privacy@dealdoctor.pro and say which envelope you mean; we will tell you what is held and route the request to the account that sent it.

| Account deletion, if you cannot use the in-app route | support@carmagree.com, subject Delete my account |

| Sub-processor objections | privacy@dealdoctor.pro — see the DPA |
Write from the address your account uses where you can. It is how we know it is you, and it is the fastest route to an answer.
You do not need an account and you will not be asked to create one. Open the link in the email you received, read the document, and sign. If the link has expired, ask the person who sent it to send a new one — only they can. If you were asked for an access code, the sender shares that with you directly: CARMAgree™ never emails it.
If you believe you received a signing request in error, or you do not recognise the sender, do not sign it. Write to support@carmagree.com with the envelope name and we will look into it.
A completed envelope downloads as a single PDF in which the executed document, the signatures and the certificate of execution travel together. On a phone or tablet the same file can be saved or passed on through the system share sheet. A screening report exports separately, as the sender’s own record.
Export works one envelope at a time and one report at a time. There is no organisation-wide export of everything at once, and the privacy policy does not promise one. If you need records beyond what those exports produce, write to privacy@dealdoctor.pro.
